Situated in the heart of Mahone Bay, on Nova Scotia's South Shore, this renowned and historic bed and breakfast built in 1861 awaits your arrival. The lovingly preserved and restored old house offers relaxation in one of four individually themed rooms: Regency, Schooner, Chelsea and Nantucket.
Located in the very centre of town with private off-street parking and within walking distance of everything Mahone Bay has to offer.

Each morning you'll enjoy a fabulous 3-course breakfast with a unique menu daily. We work hard to ensure the guests are well cared for during their stay.

While staying, take time to enjoy a bottle of wine while relaxing in white wicker chairs under the Gingerbread veranda (where you can enjoy the view and watch the world go by). Chat with other guests from around the world in our elegant and comfortable living room or on the private patio. Snuggle up with a book in the “Mahone Bay Bump”. Turn on the fireplace if you get chilly.

A day in
Mahone Bay

​When staying with us in Mahone Bay, there is no shortage of activities for all ages. Make sure you take time to photograph The Three Churches, one of the 10 most iconic photos  of Canada, stroll the streets and enjoy plenty of cafes, restaurants and places to have a drink. Shop in over 50 boutique retail shops offering unique and different treasures.  For the active, you can rent bikes, kayaks, stand-up-paddle boards and head to the beaches.

​When planning to stay in Mahone Bay, remember that Lunenburg is only 10 minutes away by car. With Mahone Bay being so central you may want to plan a few nights stay and use Mahone Bay as a base to explore the South Shore.
