Situated in the heart of Mahone Bay, on Nova Scotia's South Shore, this renowned and historic bed and breakfast built in 1861 awaits your arrival. The lovingly preserved and restored old house offers relaxation in one of four individually themed rooms: Regency, Schooner, Chelsea and Nantucket.
Located in the very centre of town with private off-street parking and within walking distance of everything Mahone Bay has to offer. Each morning you'll enjoy a fabulous 3-course breakfast with a unique menu daily. We work hard to ensure the guests are well cared for during their stay. While staying, take time to enjoy a bottle of wine while relaxing in white wicker chairs under the Gingerbread veranda (where you can enjoy the view and watch the world go by). Chat with other guests from around the world in our elegant and comfortable living room or on the private patio. Snuggle up with a book in the “Mahone Bay Bump”. Turn on the fireplace if you get chilly. |

What our guests are saying
"We very much enjoyed our time at the Mahone Bay B and B. Daniel and Miriam were wonderful hosts of this pristine bed and breakfast. We knew ahead of time that our private bath would be down the hall. No problem for us. Miriam cooked the most scrumptious breakfasts both mornings, complete with freshly-baked muffins, fresh fruit and either an omelette or Eggs Benedict. Just delightful!" "Fantastic location and accommodation. Hosts were wonderful and the breakfast was great. We, a group of 5, would highly recommend this B and B." "Such a lovely old home and wonderful, friendly, accommodating hosts. The house is beautifully kept, very welcoming and the food a service was beyond perfect. There is nothing that you could complain about." "Daniel and Miriam were welcoming and helpful hosts. The inn is charming and meticulously maintained. Its location is great as you can walk everywhere in town (restaurants, supermarket, etc) . In addition, the downtown has lovely historic houses. Breakfast is wonderfully prepared. And it is convenient to Lunenburg. We stayed there three nights and would have stayed longer except the weekend was upon us and they were booked." |
