Situated in the heart of Mahone Bay, South Shore, Nova Scotia, this renowned and historic 163-year-old bed and breakfast is waiting for your arrival. This lovingly preserved and restored old house offers you to relax in one of four (4) individually themed rooms: Regency; Schooner; Chelsea and Nantucket. Located in the very heart and centre of the town, private off street car parking and walking distance and to everything that the town has to offer.
Each morning is a fabulous 3-course breakfast every morning, with the menu changing daily and he caterers for special diets. We work hard to ensure the guests are well cared for during their stay.
While staying, take time to enjoy a bottle of wine while relaxing in white wicker chairs under the Gingerbread veranda (where you can enjoy the view and watch the world go by). Chat with other guests from around the world in our elegant and comfortable living room or on the private patio. Snuggle up with a book in the “Mahone Bay Bump”. Turn on the fireplace if you get chilly.
When staying with us in Mahone Bay, there is no shortage of activities for all ages. Make sure you take time to photograph, The Three Churches, one of the 10 most iconic photos (to take home) of Canada, stroll the streets and enjoy plenty of cafes, restaurants and places to drink. Over 50 boutique retail shops offering unique and different. For the active, you can rent bikes, kayaks, stand-up-paddle boards and head to the beaches.
When planning to stay in Mahone Bay, Lunenburg is only 10 minutes away by car and with Mahone Bay being so central then maybe plan to stay a few nights longer and use Mahone Bay as a base to explore the South Shore.
